Within this beautiful region not only will you find the famous sandy beaches of the Mediterranean, but also the stunning mountain ranges of the Pyrenees, rich in Cathar history with numerous first class ski resorts to boot. If this doesn’t whet your appetite then perhaps a lunch in one of the many medieval villages located in the area would appeal, or a visit to one of the many beautiful world class vineyards. That’s before we mention the wide variety of arts, culture and history born and inspired by the region.
